At Mercy Tabernacle, every gift you give plays a vital role in helping us fulfill the mission God has entrusted to us — reaching souls, changing lives, and building His Kingdom here on earth. Your generosity allows us to share the Gospel, serve those in need, and create life-changing ministries that uplift individuals and families. Whether it's through community outreach, discipleship programs, worship services, or support for missions, your faithful giving makes it all possible. Together, we can continue to be a light in our city, strengthen the body of Christ, and expand our impact far beyond the walls of the church. Because of your support, hope is restored, lives are transformed, and the love of Jesus is made known to many.
At Mercy Tabernacle, we give as a heartfelt response to the mercy and grace God has so freely given to us. Our generosity is an act of worship, a reflection of our gratitude, and a commitment to advancing His kingdom. Through faithful giving, we support the mission of the church, reach those in need, and help create lasting impact in our community and beyond. Giving isn’t just about meeting a need — it’s about expressing our trust in God and participating in the work He is doing through us.

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony; and they loved not their lives unto the death. Revelation 12:11
Faced with 76 years at the age of 24 with no possibility of ever seeing my family on the outside again. After trying everything I thought possible, and multiple lawyers saying there is nothing they could do. I couldn't see a way out. My mother sent me a Bible and told me to trust God and to read Psalms 23 daily. As I read, prayed and got closer to God, I knew He saved me. Though my life and family seemed to be lost I believed that God would restore it all. After serving 5 years I was released on parole for 2 years. Not following the Lord as I could have or should have but God made a way for me. Brought me back full circle to Him.
I was invited thru a friend (that is really family to me; my brother) to come to the opening of Mercy Tabernacle and from that day on I have seen God work miracles in my life. I thank God for a great church home, two great examples that are loving, caring, spirit filled, bible teaching, bible preachers and doers of the Word; Pastor Woodrow Vereen and Co- Pastor Deborah Vereen who have welcomed me into there home and family and who really have a heart for the people of God and the work of God. I am blessed to not only be able to worship but to be apart of service. God has opened up doors and opportunities beyond anything I thought of. God worked it all out. He restored my life, my marriage and family.
Wonderful are His works. I am assured there is more to come. I would also like to share how great I have been feeling since attending church again, and specifically your church. (I am tearing up while typing) As you know it does not take much for the devil to take you under his wings and sweep you away from God and his works. My life was turned upside down and inside out in a negative way. I became such a hard person and walked around pretending that all was ok with me. I looked at myself one day and realized what a monster I had become, and how it was effecting my husband and my children. The devil had me ungrateful, critical of others, looking at issues of my past (insecurities & low self-esteem) and using this as a tool to be mean to others.
I prayed and cried while asking God for forgiveness and what direction to take to mend my corrupt heart. Missy the day that you called to tell me of your Blessing (the new church) I hung up the phone and Thanked the Lord! I felt as if he answered my prayers and all I had to do was start over again and at the same time praise him in the house of God. Well not long after I struggled again, and the last straw was the devil riding me by using my children in my dreams. I realized I had to become stronger, build my faith and do some serious work on myself. I also needed to understand that bad things will happen but I have to give it all to God and continue to serve him in the process. I have since committed my life to God (I am still working on myself) and my life has seen brighter days and my heart is filled with love and laughter.
